Of a Truth

Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men,
but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones,
are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood,
to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God
through Christ Jesus.

Zayin

Remember the word to Your servant,
upon which You have caused me to hope.
This is my comfort in my affliction,
for Your word has given me life.

I Surrender (2)

Part of the requirement for the graduates-to-be is to give a little testimony about how they came to the Lord and what the bible school has meant to them during the past three years.  Below, we have each graduate giving a 5-7 minute testimonial.

                                                 Cynthia Groff

                                   Marissa Francisco-Strausser

                                            Skye Rogers

As with anything that has to do with the Lord, worship is involved.  The next two pictures are of Matt Eggleston and his worship team.

                                      (accompanying worship team)

The last picture is the Commencement Address given by Dr. Morgan Powell
of New Hope Glad Tidings Church.  Pastor Powell's was about continuing in the Word and works of the Lord.  Dr. Powell encouraged each student to "not give up" and to "never let the word can't become a part of your vocabulary."

All-in-all I had a great time.  I got to meet some new people and reacquaint myself with some old friends.  I hope that you enjoyed this as much as I have.  Thank you and God bless.

Psalm 60:12

I Surrender

Good morning everyone.  Sorry for being absent lately.  Here is a rundown of some of the things going on in my life at this time.  As you well know graduation season is among us and i wanted to share with you some pictures of the ceremony i was a part of two weeks ago.

We are in Parksburg, Pa.  Home to Maranatha Full Gospel Bible Institute.  Christ's Chapel is where we
 will be having our ceremony.

In the blue robes we have Deb and Mitch Miller who are in their second year of course studies.  The gentleman in the white robe is Skye Rogers, a soon to be 3 year graduate.

Next we have Jeffrey and Tonia Washington, husband & wife.  One of the many pleasures of this schooling is the encouragement we get from seeing so many couples taking courses together and establishing that godly foundation within the home.

Colby and I are taking post graduate courses.
Together we took The Great Commission, but
Colby decided to take another course
Paracletes, the Study of the Holy Spirit.  Intense!!

I continue to take courses and i love meeting other students of the Word from our neighbors to the south.  Parksburg is about 2 1/2 hours from us here in Hazleton.  Soo we have to travel a good way to be a part of what the Lord is doing.

Well, that is just part one.  Part two will detail more of what went on and the theme involved.
God bless.

Morning Devotion

Take it to the cross
Fall down on your knees
Lay your burdens there
Leave it at His feet
Love and Mercy wait
At the altar of His Grace
Take it to the Cross

I was reading from Psalm 145 this morning when I heard these words on the radio.  Even during my time of devotion to Him, God knew my burdened heart.

233

The Lord awakened me this morning with a song on my heart.

I immediately began to sing and praise Him.
The birds outside my window provided the rhythm and background vocals.
My heart rejoiced.  My spirit danced.

Praise be to THE ONE TRUE GOD

Verse 1
All creatures of our God and King,
Lift up your voice and with us sing,
Alleluia!  Alleluia!
Thou burning sun with golden beam
Thou silver moon with softer gleam!

Chorus
O praise Him, O praise Him!
Alleluia!  Alleluia!  Alleluia!
Amen

Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below,
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost

Thank You Lord for the marvelous works of Your hand.
May you hear this and many more songs of praise throughout today.

God bless.
